On November 12, 2020, Apple released macOS 11.0, Big Sur. Mac users should note that upgrading to Big Sur can cause compatibility issues with your current Apps. We recommend confirming with App vendors that your Apps are compatible with Big Sur, before upgrading. In particular the current version of Cisco AnyConnect is not compatible with Big Sur. Please download and install the newest version of Cisco AnyConnect from the IT website at https://it.ubc.ca/services/email-voice-internet/myvpn/manually-configuring-anyconnect-45-mac-os-x. We don’t know if Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac is compatible with Big Sur, but it is no longer receiving security updates from Microsoft, so you should not be using it anyway. Please upgrade to Office 2019 or Office 365. Thanks, UBC Psychiatry IT |
